Going Home

Well one more day till we head back to Ontario for  Christmas.   I know everyone is looking forward to seeing us and we can’t wait to see them. I still have so much to do before we leave. Gotta finish packing,  clean out the car, grab snack food for the ride home and there is probably more just can’t think of them right now lol. Liam is doing great he’s such an active little baby it’s great feeling him move around.  Though sometimes it feels like he’s p laying soccer with my stomach I love it. Still not looking forward to the hoards of people wanting to touch my belly when we head back home. Maybe I will charge them a fee if they want to touch it $5.00 for the first touch and $3.50 for each additional touch.

Crib Is Up

We put the babies crib up today. Somehow that seems to make it more real that he will be here in a few short months. I can’t wait till after Christmas when we finally paint and decorate the babies room. Liam has been kicking up a storm lately which is amusing and annoying at the same time because he likes to kick when I am napping and it wakes me up. I do love watching my belly move though when he’s really active.  So I didn’t do to much this week really was kinda nice just relaxing and not having to go to Dr’s appointments or job interviews lol. Looking forward to the end of next week when Aaron is finally done school and we can head back to Ontario for Christmas. Can’t wait to see everyone.

Sometimes…

This past week had not been the best and in te coming two weeks I don’t see thigns getting much better.

Last week, on the way to work, the new car died on me. The starter went without warning. Called Sheana to have her call the place where we bought it from and to call work for me as well. The repair cost wasn’t as bad as it could have been. Race Auto only charged me for the tow and the labour. (completely off topic, Liam just gave a good kick and made Sheana cry out) While I was at Race Auto I got a call from the Div Cell at work wanting me to come in as soon as possible. Turns out that only I can call in to report my whereabouts, not Sheana. So I may be getting charged for being AWOL. I understand the reasons for requiring me to call in, and I accept any punishment that’s coming my way but a charge is the last thing I need on my plate right now. Maybe they’ll wait until after the holidays to figure it all out.

The next few weeks are busy and at the same time they aren’t. This week I have Divisions, which I was given a Parade appointment. That is pretty cool although the practice run is tomorrow, which means I can’t go to the Ultrasound. Then again, as long as I’m there for the birth, it’s all good. Wednesday I have my English presentation and the second to last Electronics test. Thursday I have a Diagnostic test and then the final Electronics test on Friday. That just leaves me with Exams the following week. Those should be simple. I hope.

I really just can’t wait for this semester to be over. After the Christmas break I go into my third semester which is just for NW Techs. Something that is more directed to my trade. Then after all that, I have equipment phase which will be a much needed break. Sometimes I think maybe I should have just been an Operator

Job Interview

I had my job interview today for Bay Shore Home Health Care. I think it went pretty good, but if they call I don’t think I will accept the job. With a new baby on the way, I wouldn’t be able to work the hours they want once he gets here. They are offering 12 hour shifts and there is no way I am willing to be away from Liam for that long in a day, not to mention doing 12 hour shifts 5 days a week. Oh well, I will keep looking and maybe in the future once Liam is older I can give them a call and then go in and work for them. We shall see.

In other news on Wednesday I had my RH shot right in the butt.  Surprisingly it didn’t hurt as much as I thought it was going to.  Monday is my next ultrasound and I’m looking forward to that although Aaron can’t come with me . And lastly, I have started counting down the days till we head back to Ontario. 16 days to be exact lol. I can’t wait to see everyone

Birthday Time

Tomorrow is my 28th birthday, so hopefully I will get to go shopping for some more maternity clothes.Aaron’s Mum got me a gift card for Tyme Maternity and I can’t wait to use it, lol. Other then that, I’m not sure what I will do for my birthday.

This coming week will be a busy week for me. On Wednesday I have toget my RH shot and on Friday I have a job interview which I’m looking forward to. I’m not anticipating getting the job since I am now into my third trimester but it is nice that they took the time to call me for an interview. Also this week we are getting a new railing for the basement so I can start doing laundry again .

Liam is still where he’s supposed to be, lol. He is starting to move a lot more frequently now and its not just little flutters; which is pretty cool and weird at the same time.  Only problem is that Aaron is never around when he makes his big movements. I know he’s waiting to really feel Liam move instead of the little flutters. He can’t tell if its the baby or my stomach. Well that’s about it for now. Oh, Dec 7th is our next ultrasound appointment,  so hopefully we’ll be able to get some new pics of Liam up soon.

Sometime I just can’t wait.

Every day that goes by I look more forward to the birth of my son. I swear it crosses my mind multiple times a day. Lot’s of thoughts on how I’m going to raise him, advice I can give him, teach him the things I know how to do, give him an appreciation of the 1980’s. I am really anxious to see him.

In other news, this is my easy week. A whole week of soldering. Today I learned how to solder two wires together. woo… At least tomorrow is something interesting like circuit board soldering.

Wednesday we get new windows. Nothing like having holes put into your home during the end of November. Military housing is full of brilliant concepts.

Hmmm.. I think I live a boring life, I haven’t done much recently. I rock climbed last Friday, spent a weekend vegging and playing World of Warcraft. We so need to get out of the house more often.

 

New Liam Stuff

Went to the OBGYN today. Liam is 25 weeks and 4 days along. My belly measures 28 inches. He’s going to be a big boy lol. In two weeks I go for my next ultrasound so there will be more pics of Liam posted. I will also be getting my RH shot since I am RH negative. I have only gained two pounds since I last went to see the OBGYN which is good as far as I am concerned.  Time seems to have slowed right down now. The first half of my pregnancy went by so quick but now coming into my third trimester time seems to have slowed right down lol. Can’t wait till March so I can finally hold our baby. Well that’s it for now

Bored

Just thought I would update again since I am all alone tonight and bored lol. Aaron has duties overnight tonight so it’s just me here. Gonna watch some horror movies looking forward to that . Got some more baby clothes today that a friend lent me. Pretty soon Liam will have more clothes then I do .  So this week I have an appt. with my OBGYN I love going there cause I get to hear Liam’s heart beat which is always a great joy.  Can’t wait till he’s actually here. Just over a month till we’re coming home looking forward to that so we can see family and friends. Anyways off to pamper myself a bit .

Weekend!

Another week down, another week until Liam arrives. My trade training is almost done for the semester and that means Christmas is coming up soon. That means we will be coming home to Hamilton shortly. And since we plan on driving through the states we went for our passport photos today. Again, I look like a criminal. I’m not sure if that’s a good thing.

We’ve also been setting up a baby shower for Sheana and she has started wedding planning as well. It looks like I’m going to have to start saving now if we are going to afford what we want.

Well this isn’t the exciting and funny post I was looking to write. Well I guess not every post can be witty.
